Sunrock Family Day 2017

Sunrock celebrates Family Day

Sunrock held a Family Day event at the Butner Athletic Park this past October. The event is to celebrate the hard work and sacrifice of our employees and their families over the past year. About 600 people attended, making this our biggest Family Day by far.

To promote teamwork (and healthy competition between co-workers) Sunrock ran several contests and games. Our softball tournament hosted 6 full teams full of competitors, with the Sales/Office team winning it all on a walk-off Home run. We’ve also ran a huge Cornhole tournament with almost 80 contestants. David Campbell Jr. and Ricky Lloyd won the contest, winning themselves their own Sunrock-customized cornhole set. Other activities including a dunk tank, magic show, face painting, raffle, field goal challenge, bounce house and DJ bingo games kept the family entertained. Food was provided by Clyde Coopers BBQ and Kona Ice.
